Hello:
The attached patch resolves the issues noted below.
It seems that there was some corruption in the last patch-- sorry
about that.  I have cleaned it all up and it works fine on Win2000 SP3
and Red Hat Linux 7.2 JDK 1.3.1 with xalan.jar 2.4.1
both with and without resolver.jar
