Hey, I didn't say your use-case was invalid, quite the opposite is true IMHO.
I didn't intend it in fact. Mails tend to be too terse, I just wanted a counter use-case to understand better to weigh better pros and cons.
The use-case would be similar to the case where you want your <copy> task to fail if a file to copy doesn't exist.
Ah, ok. Like "if a xml property file doesn't exist, fail, because I need it".
