I should add that the reason it isnt in the main codebase is not that it doesnt
work, but that java.net.http is blazingly inconsistent across versions, and
w.r.t the http specs. If we went to httpclient we'd fix this, but if we shipped
as is now, we couldnt introduce a dependency on httpclient later on. And if we
depend on httpclient, we need to fix on a version (Axis is debating pulling
their support out till a 1.0 version of the httpclient ships, as it is too hard
to field calls against the many nightly builds that people use).

Nb, for jsp compilation and other web site testing, look at httpunit
