I just had a thought after reading this for the zillionth time...
It seems there ought to be a way to set up a whine mail that this test needs to be fixed and skip it. I'm sure nobody looks at a gump report anymore, because it is always the same jspc failure. Also, bugs downstream of this test might be accumulating unchecked :)
I don't know much about gump but it seems pointless to get the same fail message for months on end. Clearly it is a non-trivial fix, and the rest of the project does have to continue working while it is being fixed no matter how pro XP methods you are :)
