With a lot of help by Antoine, I should add. As a short status update: we currently have a bug in CVS HEAD where older files could overwrite newer files in the archive (in update mode). I have a patch by Antoine that is supposed to address this and will make up my mind on this over the weekend. The remaining stuff is getting the API right - and adding tests, of course.
