Could you try that when the next nightly buld is available. (Please follow the links from ant.apache.org since we have just moved the nightly builds - The link is currently disabled. It will be re-enabled when the next build is available ~24 hours). If that fixes the manifest problem from a fresh checkout, we can move onto the next issue(s) you have. I'd suggest we close this bug then and open new ones for the new issues since this bug is already quite large.
