The shell script ant and the batch file ant.bat are very different beasts. YOur particular issue has been addressed in CVS for 1.5.2. BTW, it is not true that lcp.bat handles unquoted arguments. If such arguments contain spaces, lcp.bat will break them into pieces which is not correct.
