http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17552 properties not stripped when read in from a properties file Summary: properties not stripped when read in from a properties file Product: Ant Version: 1.5.1 Platform: All OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <property file=> When reading in properties from a properties file, ant does not strip them so any spaces at the end of a property are passed in. This is almost certainly not what the user wants. I discovered it when the <ftp> task failed. I pulled my hair out for awhile until I realized that the properties file from which I was reading data had spaces after my username.
