Ant compile

Hi,

How do I compile Ant with gcc?  Everytime I try to compile Ant, a message
pops up from build.xml that I cannot use the classic compiler, because it is
not available.  I tried hardcoding gcc in build.xml, but then it says that
it can't use the compiler gcc.

Any suggestions?
