Hi Ant users, I had to experience, that the Tar task obviously does not support symbolic links. I just read that the missing of file permissions is a Java thing - is it the same with symlinks? Calling the system's tar via <exec> is not very useful in my current project, as I need the "includesfile" functionality. I'm using JDK 1.2.2 on Linux 2.2.16. Can anyone help?
