classic compiler problem

Hi
   Iam using Ant1.3 and java 1.2.2._06 on solaris .Iam setting the path
   var JAVA_HOME  to directory where java is installed .But iam getting
  the Classic compiler problem when iam trying to run the ant cmd .Could
  u please suggest me some idea .Expecting reply from u
