Regarding Junit output in xml

Hi
   I am having some doubt .I am using ant 1.3 and Junit 3.5
   I am using optional task of ant1.3 .I am redirecting the
    output of junit to xml file .The xml file will contain
    the testname and time for that function to execute .
    Sometimes the xml file contains the testcasename
    and there is no time attribute for that particular
    test .I think whether there is a bug on this
    Anyone of u tell me the solution to the above
    mentioned problem .Expecting reply asap
