ISTR that I had to unset my locale settings when I tested the
JUnitReport task, my German setting caused some NumberFormat conflicts
that Xalan didn't handle correctly - I can't remember the details,
though.

Does it work if you unset LANG, LC_ALL and possibly other locale
related environment variables (I'm not familiar enough with SunOS to
know which)?
