How Install Ant ?

Hi,

I'm new in using ant and in unix environment.

Yesterday, I've tried, by 3 times, to download the gz file of ant 1.3.

I did an unzip first and a tar xvf which this file.

I've got an error as : "Directory Checksum error"

So, I've forced the tar with the option -i.

I've read the install.html, and I saw thatt I've to run the build.sh.

But I've I've'nt this file anywhere under the ant directory.

Is it due to the error ?

What I've to do ?
