Hi,

I had a similar problem (see my post "Ant Problems, Win 2000") with ANT
on Win 2K with jar files. After much grief, and much help from this
mailing list, I was able to fix the problem by removing that jar file
from my CLASSPATH. Basically, my script was setting the CLASSPATH
variable before calling ant, so I guess windows locked the jar somehow.
Maybe you have the same problem ?

Hope this helps,

Jamie

Typically this problem comes up when another process has a handle on the
file. Most often I've encountered this problem in Windows. So it may
be that
the Windows java zip libraries are not being nice about letting go of
the
filehandle once the zip is created/manipulated/whatever.
