In short:
- Get the latest version from CVS to your local machine
- Change the source
- Update docs if needed
- Update testcases
- Validate everything is okay.
- Do a cvs diff -u ChangedFile.java >myPatch.txt
- Send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with
- a Subject starting with "[PATCH]"
- The subject explaining what was patched
- the files needed attached (patch, new files, ...) (do not paste to the
text)
- a Text explaining why/how/... you have changed it
