Don't know about the RedHat RPMs, but assuming they didn't change the
ant wrapper script: if something is in CLASSPATH, Ant will add it to
LOCALCLASSPATH - you could as well drop optional.jar into ANT_HOME/lib
and Ant will pick it up automatically.
