C:\>"\\nycdevweb003\cdrive\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio\Common\VSS\win3
2\ss" Get $/cfn -GLD:\cfn -I-Y -R VLv1.01 -W -Yadmin,password
Unable to open user login file \\nycdevweb003\cdrive\Program Files\Microsoft
Vis
ual Studio\Common\VSS\data\loggedin\admin.log.

I manually added this file admin.log to the above directory and attempted to
run the command line again

I get the following:

C:\>"\\nycdevweb003\cdrive\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio\Common\VSS\win3
2\ss" Get $/cfn -GLD:\cfn -I-Y -R VLv1.01 -W -Yadmin,password
Access to file "\\nycdevweb003\cdrive\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio\Comm
on\VSS\data\rights.dat" denied
Could not initialize security system.

I work with a team in Dublin - In order to control what gets changed we
locked down our code so that only members of my team have total access
They have done the same - I only have read access to their files - Does this
help explain anything

Thanks,
VA

Try to execute:
"\cdrive\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\VSS\win32\ss" Get
$/cfn -GLD:\cfn -I-Y -R VLv1.01 -W -Yadmin,password
from a command prompt.

Do you get the same error about the label?
