I guess there is some confusion on "MailLogger". In Ant's nightly/CVS
versions there is a MailLogger class that does not require the -logfile, it
simply snags all the output that comes to the console (it goes to the
console also) and sends it as a mail.
So I'm guessing the original report is against the BuildMonitor code in the
FAQ? Or something similar?

You might have probably missed out including -logfile build.log in your
command line ant invocation.
