Unless you really, really *want* to remove the entire contents of your *current working directory* -- and I'm gonna bet you *don't* -- DO NOT EVER USE "." in the 'dir' attr of <delete>, either alone or in combination with "**/*.*"!! (Okay, specifying "**/*.*" will leave *some* things -- namely, files that don't have extensions -- but it's still a very risky business, unless you really, really know for sure it's what you want to do.)
