Most build tools require you do at least something extra (even if it's just passing a flag). If forcing a full recompile without having to remove the classfiles is something that would be generally useful to people, we could maybe consider adding a 'force' attribute, which, if set, would skip the scanDir and just pass all the included files off to the compiler (I think that's all you'd need to do).
