I wish it was as easy as that :-) We took a look at that naming scheme, but ended up going with the directory naming scheme as described in http://jakarta.apache.org/ant/manual/OptionalTasks/ejb.html#ejbjar - we thought it was the best fit for the various types of EJBs being developed.
But I'm open to arguments for switching from the directory naming scheme to another naming scheme, as long as there's support for multiple beans per jar.
