I'm giving a presentation next Wed. in Portland where I'm talking about using Ant only for document transformation. No java at all. But with XSLT and Apache-Batik for JPEG and Apache-FOP for PDF (both of which have ant tasks available) Ant is an awesome multimedia production tool.
