If you're good with XSLT, use the XmlLogger (as a listener, oddly) and capture build output as XML and have at it!

ANT is more than another neat tool ... it is a great tool!

My question is this: is there a way I can aggregate stats on the number of
compiled files, lines compiled, etc., after invoking the <javac> task
numerous times during a build process? Has anyone written something to
support something like this? If not, can anyone suggest where I might hook
in to ANT to aggregate these stats?

I like crunching numbers ...
... and thanks,
