I am sorry I forgot to mention that the computer that will be running the
script is not the computer I wish to stop and start services on (this is
another machine)

<exec executable="net.exe">
    <arg line="start 'FTP Service'"/>
</exec>

<exec executable="net.exe">
    <arg line="stop 'FTP Service'"/>
</exec>
but I would think you'd want the ftp server to be running all the time, no?

if you want an automated build, you could use the Scheduled Tasks in the
Control Panel on NT.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what you are trying to get at.

Subject: using ant to build out to NT servers

Does anyone have experiences in building out to NT servers with ant. I was
looking at installing a ftp service and sending the files over but I don't
know how to start and stop the processes running on the box with ant? Any
ideas?
