I don't see servlet.jar in your debug output (not j2ee.jar for that matter). Do you? Without it, sounds like a perfectly sound error message to me. Also, you classpath is full of NetBeans stuff. Use <javac includeAntRuntime="false"/>, and assemble the classpath you need using a <path>, as David advised. Also, why aren't the sources in an src/ directory?
