It is no wonder that the Canadian people are so ignorant and misinformed, to the point of being brainwashed. Regarding that Donato "cartoon" Have you considered laying charges against the Sun and Donato, for publishing hate literature? In Canada, unlike the U.S, it is illegal to publish or material that "primates or is likely to primate hate" towards an identifiable ethnic or racial group. This racist and disgusting cartoon is nothing short of hate literature. I urge you to consult with others and see if it is possible to take the Sun to court. There are several political organizations, ant-racist and solidarity groups that would back and assist with laying hate crimes charges. If you are a writer as u say with an interest in social and ethical issues, why dont u take some time till next Wednesday when u publish your next article , and read about American atrocities in the third world and investigate about the new gas pipeline from Central Asia intended to pass thru Afghanistan and Pakistan to quench again the hunger of oil Thirsty America and its "Way of Life" and all the Texan Oil companies behind Bush.
