As far as I know, first step of forming KLA was in 1981. I hope that Serbian
members of list, Jela and Andrej, remembered that Enver Hoxha, (communist
president of Albania and dictator too) great admirer of Stalin, Mao,
started to made in Kosovo (financing and supporting) several organizations
with "communist" backgrounds. For example: "Marxist-Leninist Organization
for Free Kosovo" etc. So, background was so called "communism" or If I may
to say "Hoxha's version of communism" pretty similar to Stalin's version. In
1981. in Prishtina they ("marxist-leninist") made first demonstrations
against Serbs and against Yugoslavia. In that time Milosevic wasn't
political figure. Main goal of demonstrators was to bring Kosovo to Albania
and to create "Great Albania". And they choose "antiimperialistics" slogans
that Serbia stealing money and wealth from Kosovo.
Demonstrators (Albanians) in Prishtina (1981.) chanted: "Enver Hohxa, Free
Kosovo...etc." As Kosta pointed out they had nothing with islam religion,
because Enver Hoxha banned religions including islam religion. But, after
1990. "someone" (guess who? :-) told them and gave them training about
"islam". I think that KLA and also NLA were and they still are fascists and
Moslems terrorists.
I think that "The Great Leap Forward" for changing ideology of Kosovo's
"marxist" organizations in 1981. was Islamic revolution in Iran. Maybe some
"islamic" countries game them also financial support. Maybe I am wrong. But,
too many similar scenes has been seen in Bosnia and in Kosovo too. All
leaders of KLA and NLA have long black beard ( like Talibans in Afghanistan
for example), some arabic letters on caps. Too many mujahedins families and
fighters from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Afghanistan settled in Bosnia.
Two days ago, Macedonian TV (satellite) broadcasted documentary how some
group of NLA terrorists made some picnic somewhere near Tetovo.
Changing ideology it's not a big problem.
Changing terms is also not a big problem. Just take a look how US Gov.
turned "freedom fighters" into "terrorists" and "terrorists" into "freedom
fighters". That's the easiest way for US Gov. and hardest way for "trouble
makers" in White House is changing the policy and politics on the middle
east first.
BTW,
Kole, I am not right wing Serb and I am not imperialist. Also I have no
intention do demonize any nation and religion.
