make a greater contribution to the country's development of space
technology, Chinese President Jiang Zemin has heard.
����Their outstanding work was praised by the president in a speech
while inspecting the Jiuquan satellite launch center in northwest China's
Gansu Province, where he watched the successful launch of the country's
third unmanned spacecraft Monday night.
����The officers and engineers engaged in the manned spaceflight
project said that they would make strenuous efforts and further
contributions to develop advanced space technologies and continue their
