Ananova : Iraq ready to halt oil supplies to US ======================== Iraq says it's prepared to halt oil supplies to the US. Interim foreign minister Humam Abdul Khalek says Iraq is ready to halt immediately delivery of crude to the US. He says the country is willing to take the action jointly with Iran "and all those who decide to do the same" and without waiting for unanimity" among Muslim producers. Iraq's ruling Baath party yesterday called on Arab countries to use their oil power against Israel and the US to ensure the liberation of Palestinian land. Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi says Tehran would also "consider" using oil as a weapon.
