WASHINGTON, April 1 (Xinhuanet) --
Delegations from the United States, Japan and South Korea will meet
next week in Tokyo to coordinate their joint policy toward the
Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the State Department
announced on Monday. "The Trilateral Coordination and
Oversight Group (TCOG) plans to meet April 9 in Tokyo, Japan," State
Department spokesman Philip Reeker told reporters at a regular news
briefing. They will discuss "a range of issues in our
ongoing coordination of policy towards the DPRK," Reeker
said. U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and
Pacific Affairs, James Kelly, will lead the U.S. delegation to the
meeting, Reeker added.
