The conference adopted the new party rules unanimously. The delegates also voted in favour of a decision on the recent developments in Palestine. The Party Conference called an immediate withdrawal of the Israeli troops from Palestine and demanded the release of all the Palestine prisoners. The Conference also made a statement on the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Turkey and Israel. The statement said; "While once again declaring the solidarity feelings with the Palestine people and their representatives, TKP calls for and urgent ban of the strategic agreement between Israel and Turkey." After the Conference decisions, the party started organising action against the Israeli aggression in different cities. On the 1st of April a demonstration in Istanbul University by the party youth was held, which was followed by another one in Ankara one day later. On the 3rd of April, TKP will organise mass protests in several cities.
