����WASHINGTON, April 8 (Xinhuanet) -- The Bush administration welcomed
an offer of holding dialogue with the United States by the Democratic
People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the State Department said on Monday.
����"This is positive news," State Department spokesman Philip Reeker
told reporters at a regular news briefing.
����"As we've said consistently, the best way to resolve issues of
concern is through dialogue," Reeker said.
����South Korea's special presidential envoy Lim Dong-Won said lastweek
that the DPRK had accepted a proposal from South Korean to resume talks
with the United States and revive the stalled processof rapprochement on
