Dear all, It is on behalf of one of our correspondant that I submit this message to the anti-nato list based in UK. A few days ago, we got strong indications that Telekom Srbija is operating illegal monitoring of telephone communications (aka ear-dropping). One of our correspondant living in Zemun (suburbs of Belgrade) got a phone conversation with a foreign correspondant cut off after a femal voice informed him in serbian language that the connection was going to be interrupted. This voice, that the foreign correspondant did not hear, made her statement at the moment when our serbian correspondant was expressing his views and opinions about the (desastrous) political situation in Serbia of these recent days. We are now looking for other similar cases that could be gathered in a synthetic letter of protest and that could be sent as an alert to the european court for Human Rights in Strasbourg - France and to local yugoslav diplomatic representations. What occured in the events presented herein, is in full contradiction with european regulations and is aimed at intimidating normal citizens , and threatening potential opponents from taking a stand on social, economic and political issues. It is a deliberate attempt at ones private life and constitutes a gross violation of Human rights that must be denunciated. States that use such means to threat their citizens are either fascist or under way of becoming it.
