Incredible anti-war demos - impressive taken as a whole. (Many online Bush and Blair reports are accompanied by a demo photo!) An observation: Madrid, London, Sydney, even the march to Cheney's house, have all strongly featured solidarity with the intifada (appropriately enough this weekend). It seems like the Palestinian colors are becoming the universal colors of the Left. And why not? Useful, as I see it, because pairing today's anti-war stance (anti-imperialism) with the intifada avoids a utopian anti-war stance (absolute pacifism) and keeps our focus on ... the good fight. All out on the 26th of October! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
