War Cemetery Inaugurated in Poland

soldiers died in the country during World War II.

WARSAW, Poland �� A cemetery containing the remains of
about 13,000 German soldiers who died in southwestern
Poland during World War II was inaugurated Saturday.
The remains of the soldiers were brought over the last
four years to the cemetery at Nadolice Wielkie, near
the city of Wroclaw. About 8,500 sets of remains have
been identified.
During Saturday's ceremony, organized by a German
association, family members planted trees in honor of
the thousands whose remains have not been identified.
