The statement came from the country’s Foreign Minister Manoucher Mottaki to the ISNA news agency while commenting on Washington’s proposal voiced by a U.S. State Department Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Affairs, Daniel Stein, to help settle the dispute between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan over gas fields in the Caspian Sea.
