Standart News November 25, 2009 Bulgaria Expects New US Ideas on the Missile Shield The visit of Bulgaria's foreign minister Rumyana Zheleva to the USA ended with a lecture that was followed by a lot of questions, and with a meeting with a powerful congressman.... Minister Zheleva had a lecture on Southeastern Europe and the Black Sea region and Bulgaria's policy in the region in the Woodrow Wilson research center. During the lecture, it transpired that Bulgaria was interested in taking part in discussions on issues connected with security and to hear the ideas of US President Barack Obama's administration on the strategy of the anti-missile defense in Europe.
