Hi Jason, the Python target hasn't been updated since the 3.1.3 release. Using the runtime with later versions of the tool would probably result in very subtle errors, so the code does some very strict checking. I'm working right now on bringing Python back up to speed. In the meantime you might want to use the 3.1.3 release of antlr from http://www.antlr.org/download I also updated the wiki to reflect that.
