OK - I re-read my own comments, and this is deliberate. If you want to use the ANTLR3_STRING stuff, then you will need to implement UTF8 versions of the functions. However, I should really install the 8 bit versions so that we do not crash, so I will do that, but the strings will have limited value in UTF8 other than to get the actual characters.
