Job Description: * Plan and execute testing of server and desktop based security software on Windows and Unices platforms to ensure timely, high quality releases- co-work with other functional departments and provide technical consultation to the extended team; * Develop and implement automated tests. Job Requirements: * BS degree in computer science or related field with 2+ years software industry experience; * Hands-on experience in software testing, networking, web-based and client/server applications; * Background in network protocols, infrastructure or computer security; * Proficient in Perl and shell scripting programming; * Strong system knowledge in Windows, Unices (Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris) environments; * Knowledge of SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SMB protocols; * Good understanding of QA methodology; * Self-motivated and proactive to solve problems and accomplish assignment independently; * High analytical skills; * Ability to quickly adapt technical concepts; * Good knowledge of English language writing and speaking (the German language is a bonus); * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
