Hi, Krishna. On Linux, you can use the masking feature from userland. There are no driver modifications necessary. The aoemask utility can be found on the SR Support Page at the CORAID website. http://support.coraid.com/support/sr/ The reserve/release feature is not needed by Linux, because cluster software like the Distributed Lock Manager makes special features on the block storage unnecessary. -- Ed Cashin <ecas...@coraid.com> Find experimental aoe Linux driver patches at http://coraid.typepad.com/aoe_linux_proving_grounds/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ Aoetools-discuss mailing list Aoetools-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/aoetools-discuss
