Solution....
Odd as it may sound, it appears as if a Wireless
Access Point attached to the same network was causing
the problem....
I discoved today that I was having exactly the same
problem on two boxes. One is a Linux box running
AOLServer and the other Win2000 running IIS. Both
attach to the same hub on the same network. Both
would occasionally provide my browser with incomplete
headers.
Ahha I thought. I replaced the hub and the problem
_DID NOT_ go away. Just on a lark, I removed the
power to an unused SMC Wireless Access Point connected
to the same hub and the like magic, everything was
working perfect.
Go Figure!!!!
