The answer to your question is "yes" but the answer to the question
you MEANT to ask is "no".
Sybase and SQL Server 7 share the same client-server protocol. Things
changed with SQL Server 2000, and I'm presuming since this is a new
purchase for your client, they're most likely going to be going with
SQL Server 2000 rather than SQL Server 7.
So, if you're using SQL Server 7 or older, you should be able to get
away with using the Sybase client libraries and the nssybpd or other
Sybase database driver. If you're using SQL Server 2000, I think
you're SOL.
