I would like to change the behavior of my database driver on a per pool level.

Specifically, I would like to define on a per pool basis, the maximum
length of a field that can be retrieved/inserted into the database.

I see that all of the information that goes into

  ns_section ns/db/pool/$poolname

is stored in the Ns_DbHandle (or the internal version of that
structure). Playing with AOLserver 3.2, but looking at the 3.4, there is a
field, context, that no one in all of AOLserver land appears to use.

Can someone confirm/deny that this field is intended to be used by the db
driver writer, to store per pool properties?

Or could someone suggest how I might store my per pool information?

Thanks,

Jerry Asher
