Summary: setting up Aol on LINUX SUSE

Initial Comment:
I have just installed successfully Aol Server on my
LINUX SUSE partition.
I need to set up the nsd.tcl file so that AOL is
running as webserver on my machine. What do I have to
modify and how in the nsd.tcl file and also what do I
have to type in the browser so I can access the
webserver (aol server running on my machine) in the
browser.
I am quite a beginner with this so any help is
apprecitated. Thanks

Paul

Paul,

Were you able to get AOLserver working on your SuSE Linux
machine? Do you still need help? -- Dossy

Your nsd.tcl is your configuration file. You need to set it
up according to your machine and needs. For example, if you
are using AOLserver to access a database, it's in nsd.tcl
that you tell AOLserver which database drivers to load.

Your nsd.tcl should be pretty well commented. Just follow
the comments and apply the settings. If you don't understand
a section, ask about it in the mailing list. We also have a
sample nsd.tcl file for use with OpenACS (a toolkit written
for AOLserver) at openacs.org/doc/openacs/nsd.txt
