Summary: Images don't always show up in IE

Initial Comment:
I've noticed that occasionally, images will not load
properly in IE, when they are served up by my
AOLserver. I thought it was just various internet
problems getting in the way, but it has been happening
via a direct connection to the machine as well. The
images will not load intermittently, and in their
place will be the little red IE x, denoting an
unavailable image. The curious thing is that when I
right click on the image and get its properties in IE,
I see the following:
Type: Not Available
Size: Not Available
Dimensions: (what they are supposed to be)
Created: Not Available
Modified: Not Available

My question is, why doesn't IE get this information
from the AOLserver? (the images are just gif or
jpgs). The properties are the same, even when the
image DOES load as expected. It seems like IE figures
out what to do sometimes, and other times it doesn't.
When the images don't load correctly, a reload of the
page almost always fixes the problem temporarily.

Is there some aolserver config I have to use to make
this work correctly? Anybody have any ideas what's
causing this, or have you seen it before? It seems
like this occurs often with adp pages. ns_puts'ing
the <img src=blahblah> wouldn't have anything to do
with it would it??

Thanks a ton for any help,
Paul
