Sanju,

You seem to be exploring netpbm and you're aware of gd, but have
you explored gd?

You should consider gdtclft. Check http://www.graphviz.org/ for
it. In particular:

| From: http://www.graphviz.org/cgi-bin/man?gdtclft
|
| Thomas Boutell's Gd package provides a convenient way to generate
| bitmap images with a C program. If you, like me, prefer Tcl for CGI
| applications, you'll want my TCL GD extension. You can get it by
| anonymous FTP from ftp://guraldi.hgp.med.umich.edu/pub/gdtcl.shar.

I'm not sure if it's trivially easy to use gdtclft under AOLserver,
but I can't imagine it being too difficult.
