[AOLSERVER] ns_atclose not working?

Hello.

I've tested ns_atclose on 2 machines. I tried
<%
ns_atclose {close [open /tmp/xxx w]}
%>

It does not report any errors, however it does not create /tmp/xxx as
well :(.

 From what I understand from the docs, it can be called from ie ADP to
set up things that should be done after closing the connection.

It's 3.4.2, on 2.2/2.4 Linux, tried wget and IE5.
