We are going to do our own (mostly C) WebDAV implementation with fast DOM-based XML processsing. It will have higher parts of it done in Tcl but lower levels will be C-based. I'm going to do the Digest authorization for it so you can have it pretty soon. I have most of pieces in-place. I only have to decide how to integrate it with the existing nsperm and Basic-like authorization. AOLserver as-is has very poor extension capabilities for alternate authorization schemes.
